Revolutionaries can’t have endorsement deals. There is a long list of celebrities, athletes and entertainers speaking out on various revolutionary and/or “woke” subjects. This list includes: LeBron James (Nike), Bubba Wallace (Beats by Dre/Door Dash), George Clooney (Nespresso), Beyonce (Pepsi), Taylor Swift (Coke), Janelle Monae (CoverGirl), Serena Williams (Nike/Wilson) and the most famous of them all – Colin Kaepernick (Nike).
You may agree with them, you may disagree with them. Regardless of your position, you must understand that their statements have been vetted and cleared by the corporations whose products they hawk.
Once upon a time Michael Jordan refuse to insert himself into politics and responded to his critics with a rare moment of honesty, “Republicans buy sneakers too!”
